Vision Workshop 2.0

2024 Vision Workshop BCF started the Vision Workshop in Kansas City, MO to help smaller Black owned, Black serving non-for profits in administrative development. We focus on providing a 2-3 day workshop that aims to strengthen community connections, improve technical skills and build engagement skills with funders. During the workshop, organizations were given the opportunity to pitch a project aiming to support that community that BCF would fund. In total BCF chose 14 organizations and donated $56,000 to the community. While the Vision Workshop is designed to fine tune the organizations dedicated to improving the structure of our society, it is also a way for BCF to stay connected to local organizations and maintain community.
